Life has changed... a little.

and will continue to change.. a little, or alot, every day.

is that not the most encouraging and adventurous thought?

I am sitting at the the kitchen counter with my lime green cover on my mac, and my fresh springy gerber daisies my love sent me while he was away...actually this replacement bouquet is prettier than the first they sent. (the first ones were toast within 24 hours, boo.)
you can replace my dead flowers with fresh ones any day! :) (good change!)

Valentine's day is this weekend. I think we may continue our romantic tradition of enjoying bright red... boiled crawfish on V-day.
mmm.
haven't had any yet this year, or this pregnancy.
after a few years of LONG WAITS at expensive restaurants, with reservations... we felt like we were sneaking out heading to Dwight's on Valentine's day...
(unless I get a little impatient and go tonight!)

Have I ever mentioned that I love my husband. I really, really, love him. and he loves me.
that is such a gift.
B is fantastically handsome, strong, intelligent and a wonderful provider...
I have so far to go to being the wife and mother that I want to be. and he loves me and encourages me towards that goal, in his gracious way.

I have adjusted pretty smoothly to my new life of being home, and mom to two.
no, baby sister hasn't hatched yet. but I already feel like I am mothering two kiddies.
Jesse is a joy to be with, his little curls and long eyelashes make my heart melt. this little girl stops me in my tracks with her kicking and squirming. I love it.
it is soooo special.

It's been 8 weeks ...
I have made lots of little changes that have added up to big change for this home.
I do dishes daily now, I cook, I plan meals, I rest. I read, I play, I wash clothes...sometimes :)
I pick up toddler toys repeatedly...
I am a work in progress...can't say I wouldn't initially jump at the thought of going back to the way things were... but this is for the best.
Baby sister will be here soon!

I have a new friend- my electrolux vacuum sweeper,
it matches my laptop... :)
my other "good" friend-

Life is beautiful and amazing, and I want to keep up with it a little more...
enjoy the fleeting moments, writing about them allows revisiting...that is special.

oh, yes, can't forget, yesterday Jesse "got" the word welwo (yellow). how fun...
sounds alot like hello...
love his little voice.
