Love, makes the world go 'round...

I am loving life...
I have a fantastic husband, a precious child to love, a great church, great friends...
What more could I ask for...

I want to sit down and plan out the next five years... and then in five years pull my "plan" out and see how life "really" turns out....
What does He have in store that we couldn't even imagine?

How can I live my life in a way that follows His gentle leading, wherever it may take me?
am I listening for His voice... that still small voice that can almost be drowned out by my selfish excitement? I don't want to take the long way... though it sometimes is the way He has for me...

What is He showing me today... that He intends to be a building block for the things to come....
Can I retain those revelations, those inspired moments, and revisit them?
or do I let them flit away ....

Easter Kisses...

sick day..

jesse and mommy are home today- jesse is really congested and has the dreaded RSV-
He did figure out how to say mama yesterday so I am happy about that...
He is 9 months old!
His current "tricks" are kicking the soccer ball.... he loves to run around and kick the ball...
he can say "Ball" and when he picks up his wiffle balls and throws them he definitely expects mommy and daddy to "fetch"!
He LOVES little lights on all the tv equipment, laptops, etc...
he crawls all around- usually looking for "dadadadada..."

He loves morning, after his 7 am nursing, he pops his head up to look for daddy... Bryan gets home from the gym around 10 after 7, Jesse hears the door and starts expecting him... its very sweet. Bryan picks him up and he waves Bye Bye to momma... who rolls over for 5 minutes before I peel myself out of bed.
Jesse has 8 teeth popped through already! He LOVES to eat- he is such a little petot you wouldn't know ... but he is so happy at meal time... he loves to try new things- this week it was lentils and beets... he loved it... crazy huh?
he gives us these gigantic toothy grins that melt your heart...
We are so thrilled to be parents-

It gives me the time and energy to focus on others more...

Please pray for Kaitlyn Rousse- she is recovering from heart surgery in New Orleans...
